Staffs are very kind and they all speak English. Even though I arrived at the Pousada at four o'clock in the morning (of course before the check-in time), they accepted me and let me sleep in bed (I paid some money for that).

Very helpful, attentive and friendly staff, great location next to beach, good outdoor area, value for money dinners and bar.
More a hostel than a pousada, the rooms on the ground floor are somewhat stuffy, and room no.1 quite noisy.

Located right on the beach, we enjoyed the convenience of being just steps away from the sand and sea. The breakfast provided was delicious and had a good variety of options to choose from. the staff were friendly and helpful, providing us with useful tips and recommendations for local activities and attractions.
The cleanliness of the rooms and facilities left much to be desired. The bathrooms were not well-maintained and the bedsheets and pillows seemed in need of a thorough cleaning.

the hostel wasn't crowded, allowing for more interaction with the staff. Juan, one of the receptionists, was incredibly welcoming and helpful, going above and beyond to enhance our experience in Paraty. He even gave up his day off to show us around Trindade and its beautiful attractions. The whole hostel crew made us feel at home and eager to spend more time in Paraty. Cons: No issues.

The Geko Pousada in Paraty offered a pleasant stay with some great features. the database was quite useful as it provided information about the hostel's amenities and services. The room with air conditioning was a welcomed relief from the Paraty heat, ensuring a comfortable night's sleep. the room had a bathroom, which was convenient and saved me from having to use shared facilities.
There was one minor drawback during my stay at Geko Pousada. The noise level, particularly in the rooms near the front of the hostel, was quite high.

Warm, laid back ambience: The hostel had a cozy atmosphere that was perfect for unwinding and socializing. It felt like resting and chatting after a day of exploring was as natural as cooling down after a day on the beach.
No functioning windows in the dormitory room.
